A trust is an arrangement whereby property (including real, tangible and intangible) is managed by one person (or persons or organizations) for the benefit of another.
In the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001, the US Congress enacted a phase-out of the federal estate tax over the following 10 years, so that the tax would be completely repealed in 2010. There was not a three fifths super-majority.
However 2010 is still being speculated as being the year the tax will be repealed? Will it happen? Some relief may be given but how much? Don't miss out on the potential benefits this ruling may have.

A will or testament is legal declaration by which a person, having one or more persons to manage his or her estate and provides for the transfer of his or her property at death. A will could very well be the most important document you could or should prepare in your lifetime. Depending on your home state, you may have to deal with estate tax issues.
As far as probate (the process by which legal title of property is transferred from the decedent's estate to his/her beneficiaries.) you can rest assured your loved ones are or will be included in your estate.
